Senior Chinese official Huang Kunming on Monday called for making innovations and focusing on priority tasks in the education of Party history, in order to consolidate and build upon the good momentum in the education campaign.
Huang made the remarks at a symposium on the education of Party history in Beijing. He is a member of the Political Bureau of the Communist Party of China (CPC) Central Committee, the head of the Publicity Department of the CPC Central Committee, and the head of the leading group for Party history learning and education campaign.
Huang said that CPC officials should thoroughly study the Party's history and innovative theories, and stick to the mission of seeking happiness for the Chinese people and striving for rejuvenation of the Chinese nation.
Huang called for carrying out extensive publicity and education activities among the public and telling the Party's stories through historical resources and online channels. He also urged Party members to focus on delivering services to people and resolving the difficulties that people face.
In carrying out the campaign, Huang stressed unleashing people's enthusiasm, initiative, and creativity at the grassroots level.
