Huang Kunming holds video talk with Laotian senior official

Senior Communist Party of China (CPC) official Huang Kunming held a video talk with a senior official of the Lao People's Revolutionary Party (LPRP) in Beijing on Wednesday.

Huang Kunming, a member of the Political Bureau of the Communist Party of China (CPC) Central Committee, member of the Secretariat of the CPC Central Committee, and head of the Publicity Department of the CPC Central Committee, held a video talk with Khamphanh Phommathath, a member of the Political Bureau of the Lao People's Revolutionary Party (LPRP) Central Committee, member of the Secretariat of the committee, and head of the Publicity Department of the committee, in Beijing on Wednesday.

Huang said that the fifth plenary session of the 19th CPC Central Committee just concluded, and China will embark on a new journey to build a modern socialist country in all aspects. Next year marks the 60th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic ties between China and Laos. China is ready to work with Laos in earnestly implementing the important consensuses reached by leaders of the two countries, and deepen experience sharing and practical cooperation in party and state governance, so as to lay a solid foundation for building the China-Laos community with a shared future.

Khamphanh said Laos is willing to strengthen exchanges with China on governing the party and the country, and further deepen bilateral relations.
