Huang Kunming met with Raghubar Das, chief minister of Jharkhand state of India in Beijing on Sept. 4.

Huang Kunming, a member of the Political Bureau of the Communist Party of China (CPC) Central Committee and head of the Publicity Department of the CPC Central Committee, met with Raghubar Das, chief minister of Jharkhand state of India in Beijing on Sept. 4.

Huang said that the relations between China and India has maintained sound momentum with the support of Chinese President Xi Jinping and Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi. He said that the CPC attaches great importance to the friendly relations with political parties in India, including the Bharatiya Janata Party, and is willing to implement the consensus reached between the leaders of the two countries, deepen inter-party exchanges between the two countries, develop a new type of party relations, and make greater contribution to the advancement of Sino-Indian ties.

Das said that it is important to maintain steady relations between India and China, adding that India welcomes Chinese companies to invest in the country and that he looks forward to strengthening India-China ties including inter-party relations.
