Published by the Publicity Department of the Communist Party of China (CPC), a new book introducing the guiding principles of the 19th CPC National Congress has gone down well with Chinese audiences.

The book, one of the "Face to face: on Theoretical Issues" book series, gives a profound interpretation of 13 topics raised at the 19th CPC National Congress, helping people to further understand the essence of the 19th CPC National Congress and better develop it into action.

Seminars were also held in communities and universities around the country to share people's thoughts on the book and answer prominent problems of public concern. Local government officials, representatives of the communities, university students and faculties all express their love and appreciation of the book.

Some experts and scholars pointed out that the popularity of this book lies in combining the theoretical issues with problems bearing on people's immediate interests. 

"Written from the perspective of the general public, the book illustrates the essence of 19th CPC National Congress in a practical and readable way, attracting more people," said Cui Weihang, deputy director of the Institute of Philosophy of the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences.
