A symposium was held in Beijing on Wednesday to offer business integrity and compliance training for Chinese enterprises participating in the Belt and Road Initiative.
Attendees studied and discussed the latest practices in and requirements for business integrity and compliance, risk management, and domestic and overseas experience, among other topics.
The event, the third of its kind, was held at Tsinghua University and was organized by China's National Commission of Supervision, the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime, the International Anti-Corruption Academy, and the Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank.
A business integrity and compliance initiative for the Belt and Road was launched at the event by over 60 centrally-administered state-owned enterprises (SOEs), local SOEs and private enterprises deeply engaged in the Belt and Road Initiative.
Enterprises at the event pledged to play an exemplary role in honoring integrity and compliance commitments.
Participating international organizations praised China for attaching great importance to related training, and vowed to further cooperate with China in promoting corporate honesty in the Belt and Road Initiative.
