Nearly 60 representatives from China and the Arab League discussed media responsibilities during the COVID-19 pandemic on Nov. 24.

The fourth China-Arab Media Cooperation Forum took place as an online event on Nov. 24.

Nearly 60 representatives of media authorities and executives of media outlets from China and members of the Arab League held discussions on media responsibilities during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Xu called on media organizations from both sides to assume their due responsibilities and work together to create a sound environment for the two sides' win-win cooperation amid the COVID-19 pandemic.

He said he also hopes that media outlets can adopt an objective stance, publish stories of bilateral and multilateral cooperation in the fight against COVID-19, and deliver positive energy among the public.

Co-organized by the SCIO and the Secretariat of the Arab League, the forum published a communiqué based on the wide consensus reached at the forum.
