By taking advantage of its amazing highland sceneries, Lulang in Nyingchi city, Southwest China's Tibet autonomous region, has lifted out of poverty and finds a path to wealth.

With an altitude of about 3,380 meters and average annual temperature of 16 degrees Celsius, the township has pleasant weather all year around, especially in summer.

In Tibetan language, "Lulang" symbolizes "the place where the God lives".

About 830,000 tourists visited the county in 2019, generating income of 78.52 million yuan ($12.15 million).

Many locals run homestay businesses, with a family earning between 300,000 to 700,000 yuan a year.
