The symposium was held on Monday in Shenzhen, south China's Guangdong Province.

Huang said Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era is "Marxism in contemporary China and the 21st century."

He said the CPC is willing to carry out dialogue and exchanges with the communist parties of other countries on how to uphold and develop Marxism and jointly promote the building of a community with a shared future for humanity.
