Jiang Jianguo meets with media delegation from ASEAN countries

Jiang Jianguo, deputy head of the Publicity Department of the Communist Party of China (CPC) Central Committee, met with a delegation of 11 representatives of media organizations from Indonesia and Malaysia on Wednesday in Beijing.

The delegation, invited by the CPC Publicity Department and the China International Publishing Group, is on a visit to Beijing and Xinjiang Uygur autonomous region from Feb. 18 to 28. 

During the trip, the delegates are expected to gain a firsthand understanding of China's economic and cultural development, and hold discussions on the broad prospect for cooperation between China and ASEAN countries.
