Jiang Jianguo meets with Panamanian media representatives

Jiang Jianguo, deputy head of the Publicity Department of the Communist Party of China (CPC) Central Committee, met with media representatives and online influencers from Panama on Wednesday in Beijing.

The two sides spoke over Chinese President Xi Jinping's recent visit to Panama, reviewed the people-to-people exchange activities held in Panama in November, and voiced hopes for further cooperation and friendship between the two countries.

Jiang said he hopes the delegation can gain more knowledge about China's socioeconomic development as well as its reform and opening up through their visits to China's media outlets, enterprises, and institutes of higher learning, and contribute to a friendly China-Panama relationship.
