Zhuang Rongwen, deputy head of the Publicity Department of the Communist Party of China Central Committee, attended an exhibition on the cooperation work by China and the UNESCO held at the UNESCO headquarters in Paris, France, on June 12.
The exhibition, as part of the "Experience China" cultural event series, was organized by the State Council Information Office of China and prepared by the China Intercontinental Communication Center (CICC).
Zhuang, who also heads the State Administration of Press and Publication of China and the National Copyright Administration of China, said that on the celebration of the 70th anniversary of the UNESCO magazine Courier and the first anniversary of its relaunch, it's of great significance for China, a founding member of the UNESCO, to recall the achievements that both sides have made on education, science, culture and information.
Entitled "Building the Future Through Cooperation," the exhibition presented the progress that China and the UNESCO jointly made through cooperation. The exhibition used various high-tech presentation methods and attracted guests with its unique Chinese culture.
