China to keep red line to ensure arable land

China will make every effort to ensure its total arable land of no less than 1.8 billion mu (120 million hectares) during the 14th Five-Year Plan period (2021-2025), said an official from the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs at a press conference on Wednesday.
