The first China-Africa Economic and Trade Expo will be held in Changsha, the capital city of central China's Hunan province, from June 27 to 29.

The expo has announced its theme of "win-win cooperation, forging ahead with the China-Africa economic and trade relations." It will focus on trade, agriculture, investment and financing, industrial parks, and infrastructure construction.
During the event, 14 sub-forums and an exhibition will be held to shed light on the new channels and measures to expand China-Africa economic and trade cooperation. Activities will also be held to promote African countries and Chinese cities and offer an opportunity of discussing new mechanisms for local cooperation.
More than 10,000 guests from 53 African countries, international organizations including the UN Industrial Development Organization, the World Food Programme, the WTO, and the African Union, Chinese government organizations, and China's state-owned enterprises will share their views on promoting China-Africa economic and trade cooperation.
The expo will be divided into five parts, including an exhibition on achievements of China-Africa economic and trade. In addition, the organizers will also set up a digital platform to present an online expo to the world.
