The combined photo taken on July 27, 2018 shows workers at the construction site of a road in Rongshui Miao Autonomous County, south China's Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region. The county government plans to build roads of 197 kilometers long before 2020, expecting to benefit over 260,000 people in 11 towns and villages. Due to harsh environmental conditions, Rongshui has long been a less developed area in China. Up to now, there are still 76,800 impoverished people living in the county. In recent years, the local government carries out effective methods for poverty alleviation, helping local people to build roads, repair houses, improve education and develop industry. [Photo/Xinhua]
