Dehua, as China's famous ceramics base, has some 2,600 ceramic companies and over 100,000 related employees. The county has promoted electric kiln to protect environment and pushed forward whole industrial chain of ceramics. In 2017, the output value of ceramic industry in Dehua reached US$3.58 billion.
