Chinese enterprises made new investments in 48 countries along the Belt and Road in January and February, with investment totaling US$2.72 billion, up 18.3 percent year-on-year, according to the Ministry of Commerce on Thursday.

Chinese enterprises made new investments in 48 countries along the Belt and Road in January and February, with investment totaling US$2.72 billion, up 18.3 percent year-on-year, according to the Ministry of Commerce on Thursday.

Newly signed contracted projects in 59 countries along the Belt and Road amounted to US$15.36 billion, an increase of 25.6 percent year-on-year, and the turnover was US$9.14 billion.
