As an embodiment of a community with a shared future for humanity, the film shows how the Belt and Road has changed the lives of ordinary people from around the world, according to the film roadshow held on Tuesday.

It tells stories of different people pursuing their dreams, including a 13-year-old boy from Xinjiang, who harbors a basketball dream and works hard in hope of meeting his idol Yao Ming, and an elderly man from Spain, a craftsman of hand-made paper, coming to China in search of the origin of paper-making.

The film's screenwriter Guy Hibbert, who won four British Academy of Film and Television Arts awards, said the Belt and Road Initiative has attracted worldwide attention and has the power of transformation, adding that it has boosted new industries and broad cooperation across the globe.

Made up of members from China, the United States and Britain, the production team traveled over 300,000 km across Asia, Africa, Europe and South America in two years to shoot the film.

The film will also be released on international mainstream media as well as media platforms of countries and regions along the Belt and Road.
