A new China-Europe freight train line was launched Tuesday, linking Delingha, northwest China's Qinghai Province, with Russia.

The first train of a new China-Europe freight train line is ready to leave for Barnaul of Russia in Delingha of the Mongolian-Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture of Haixi, northwest China's Qinghai Province, Oct. 9, 2018. The first train, loaded with chemical containers, will leave China through the Alataw Pass in Xinjiang and travel through Kazakhstan before reaching Barnaul in Russia.
