Peng extended his gratitude to the delegation led by Zeynalli and said much progress has been made since the university introduced the Azerbaijani language as a course in 2015.

The school will further its efforts to enhance cooperation between the two sides by paying a visit to Azerbaijan in April, said Peng. Plans like admitting more Azerbaijan students, establishing a research center in Azerbaijan, and advancing university cooperation on important projects are already underway.

All of these measures are positioned to make substantial contributions in talent cultivation and cultural cooperation.

China and Azerbaijan have a brighter future thanks to the China-proposed Belt and Road Initiative, said Zeynalli after the meeting.
