Xu Lin attends 5G+4K media technology fair

Xu Lin, deputy head of the Publicity Department of the Communist Party of China (CPC) Central Committee and minister of the State Council Information Office of China (SCIO), attended the "5G+4K" media technology fair Sunday in Beijing's Media Center.

Xu Lin, deputy head of the Publicity Department of the Communist Party of China (CPC) Central Committee and minister of the State Council Information Office of China (SCIO), attended the "5G+4K" media technology fair Sunday in Beijing's Media Center. The event was held for media outlets from countries and regions participating in the Belt and Road Initiative.

The fair featured advanced technologies for new media, with exhibition areas called "CCTV productions with 5G+4K+AI technology," "Huawei 5G+4K exhibition," and "5G network for home use."

Media representatives and video production teams from Belt and Road countries and regions tested out the various advanced technologies and devices.

Shen Haixiong, deputy head of the Publicity Department of the CPC Central Committee and head of China Media Group, also attended the exhibition.

The fair was co-organized by China Media Group, Belt and Road Media Community, and well known manufacturers of digital technologies. It provided a platform for international media outlets to exchange and cooperate on the most advanced media technologies.

Also on Saturday, China Media Group and Huawei signed a strategic cooperation agreement to deepen cooperation with regards to the application of 5G network and 4K/8K technologies.
