Guo Weimin meets African think tank delegation

The vice minister of the State Council Information Office of China held discussions with the African delegation regarding social and economic cooperation.

On Jan. 19, Guo Weimin, vice minister of the State Council Information Office of China, met with a delegation from an African think tank in Beijing.

Guo gave the delegation a briefing on the 19th National Congress of the Communist Party of China (CPC) and the country's social and economic progress, and held in-depth discussions with experts and scholars from the think tank on promoting a community with a shared future between China and Africa.

Zhang Ye, director general of the International Liaison Bureau of the Publicity Department of the CPC Central Committee, and Wang Lei, director general of the International Cooperation Bureau of the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences, also attended the meeting.
