An exhibition featuring China's outstanding achievements over the past five years was launched in Beijing on Sept. 25.

Liu Yunshan, a member of the Standing Committee of the Political Bureau of the Communist Party of China (CPC) Central Committee and the Secretariat of the CPC Central Committee, spoke at the event underlining the importance of the CPC's leadership with President Xi Jinping as the core.

Through the exhibition, CPC members and the general public can better learn about the CPC's political advantages, understand the new development phase of socialism with Chinese characteristics, and get inspired to work hard for achieving grander goals in the future.

He hoped that the Chinese people will be prepared for the upcoming 19th National Congress of the CPC and make consistent efforts to achieve the two centenary goals.

Liu Qibao, a member of the Political Bureau of the CPC Central Committee and head of the Publicity Department of the CPC Central Committee, hosted the opening ceremony of the exhibition.

The exhibition at the Beijing Exhibition Center has 10 themed exhibition zones and one interactive zone. Multimedia is used to provide vivid display effects.
