In pics: Opening ceremony of Tang Xianzu International Theater Festival held in Fuzhou

The opening ceremony of Tang Xianzu International Theater Festival was held in Fuzhou, Jiangxi Province, the birthplace of the 16th Century playwright, on Sept.24. A grand parade as well as various performances will be put on during the festival running from Sept. 25 to the end of October. About 20 domestic and foreign groups from the U.K, Russia, Spain and other countries involved in the Belt and Road Initiative will stage classical plays and other dramas, providing a feast of enjoyment for audiences in a bid to further enhance international cultural exchanges.
