The exhibition displayed the natural landscapes, folk customs, and economic growth of China's Tibet Autonomous Region in 30 photos, receiving widespread praise from politicians and the general public in New Zealand.

The exhibition served as a window for New Zealanders to get to know China as a multicultural country, and get to know China's Tibet Autonomous Region and its growth prospects, said Wang Yanwen, associate inspector of the Department of Human Rights of the State Council Information Office. She headed the delegation to Auckland.

Xu Erwen, the Chinese Consul General in Auckland, introduced the policies of the Chinese government in the Tibet Autonomous Region and the achievements made there so far, including a double-digit economic growth in recent years. She also emphasized that the Chinese government values the protection of Tibetan culture and heritage.

Besides the photo exhibition, an artistic performance was also presented by the New Zealand Huaxing Arts Troupe.
