14th China-ASEAN Expo set for September

China's State Council Information Office announced on July 10 that the 14th CAEXPO and the China-ASEAN Business & Investment Summit will take place in Nanning from September 12 to 15.

2017 marks the 50th anniversary of the establishment of the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) and is the China-ASEAN Year of Tourism Cooperation, so it is fitting that this summer's China-ASEAN Expo (CAEXPO) will be bigger and better than ever before.

China's State Council Information Office announced on July 10 that the 14th CAEXPO and the China-ASEAN Business & Investment Summit will take place in Nanning, capital of southeast China's Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, from September 12 to 15.

A new section of the Nanning International Convention & Exhibition Center will be put into use, adding another 12,000 square meters and taking the total exhibition space to 122,000 square meters. It will be able to accommodate 6,500 booths, 700 more than at the previous session.

The Chinese Commodity Pavilion will highlight "Advanced Smart Products," those with sophisticated internet functions. There will also be a pavilion dedicated to technology for environmental protection, and another to the Belt and Road.
