The event, which will last till July 10, features various exhibitions of paintings, porcelains and multiple Chinese modern inventions, as well traditional Chinese music performances and lantern shows.

This year’s Experience China event in Germany coincides with the 45th anniversary of the establishment of the China-Germany diplomatic relations as well as with President Xi Jinping’s visit to the country, said Huang Kunming, executive vice minister of the Publicity Department of the CPC Central Committee, in his opening remarks of the event.

This serial cultural event will boost China-Germany cultural exchanges and friendship between the two countries, he said.

The event is co-organized by the State Council Information Office and the Chinese Embassy in Germany.
