An Egyptian official has said that the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) is aimed at achieving development for people.
Hisham el-Zimaity, secretary general of the Egyptian Council for Foreign Affairs, made the remarks in a recent interview with Xinhua. He added that the SCO has proven its importance since its establishment in 2001.
