Xigou limestone site is located 45 km southwest of Gansu's Jiayuguan City, in the alpine mountain region at an altitude of about 3,200 meters.
5G network makes mining operation more efficient and much safer in northwest China's Gansu Province.
Since last April, 5G-driven unmanned mining trucks have been put into operation at Xigou lime mine of JISCO (Jiuquan Iron & Steel Corporation).
The 5G-powered trucks, jointly produced by China Mobile's Gansu branch and JISCO, are being formally used in this limestone mining site.
