A drone taxi made its maiden flight in Seoul, capital of South Korea on Nov. 11. The autonomous aerial vehicle, EHang 216, is produced by Chinese drone maker EHang. The 10-minute demonstration flight took place at a riverside park. No human passengers were on board for safety concerns. Instead, it carried 70 kilograms of rice bags with speeds up to 50 kilometers per hour. Ehang 216 is a two-seated, low-altitude aircraft. It could also be used for sight-seeing, medical aid, and short distance logistics.
