A senior official of the Communist Party of China (CPC) on Friday addressed a forum on China-Africa media cooperation, saying media exchanges between China and Africa have entered a "fast lane."
Huang Kunming, a member of the Political Bureau of the CPC Central Committee and head of the Publicity Department of the CPC Central Committee, made the remarks when delivering a speech via video.
Huang said the Chinese and African media both insist on being objective and fair, voicing justice, treating each other sincerely, and jointly promoting people-to-people bonds over the years.
"Through the efforts of the media, the Chinese and African people can better share the fruits of informatization and inject more momentum into the high-quality development of China-Africa cooperation," Huang said.
China will work with African countries to strengthen exchanges and cooperation in the fields of media, think tanks and culture for a better world, Huang added.
