Xi inspects northeastern Chinese city of Changchun

Xi Jinping, general secretary of the Communist Party of China Central Committee, on Thursday inspected Changchun, the capital city of northeast China's Jilin province.

Xi visited a residential community, a school for training community cadres, an urban planning exhibition facility, and the R&D headquarters of automaker FAW Group.

He learned about primary-level social governance, urban planning and development, as well as the reform and development of state-owned enterprises.
