Senior officials of the Communist Party of China (CPC) on Monday met with a delegation of the Lao People's Revolutionary Party (LPRP).

Ding Xuexiang, a member of the Political Bureau of the CPC Central Committee, member of the Secretariat of the CPC Central Committee, and director of the General Office of the CPC Central Committee, said China-Laos relations have ushered in a new era under the leadership of the two parties' general secretaries.
"China is willing to work with Laos to implement the major consensus reached by the top leaders of the two parties and countries, and seek steady progress in building the China-Laos community with a shared future," said Ding.
Huang Kunming, a member of the Political Bureau of the CPC Central Committee, member of the Secretariat of the CPC Central Committee, and head of the Publicity Department of the CPC Central Committee, also met with the delegation led by Khamphanh Phommathath, a member of the Political Bureau of the LPRP Central Committee, member of the Secretariat of the committee, and head of the Publicity Department of the committee.
Huang expressed the hope that the publicity departments of the two parties strengthen governance experience exchanges and deepen pragmatic cooperation in publicity and cultural fields.
Khamphanh said Laos is willing to further learn from the CPC's experience in governing the party and the country, and seek new progress in building the China-Laos community with a shared future.
