Huang, also head of the Publicity Department of the CPC Central Committee, said the China-Laos relationship has entered the best-ever period in history.

The Lao delegation was led by Sounthone Xayachack, head of the LPRP Central Committee's commission for external relations.

Hailing the significance of party-to-party ties for the bilateral relations between the two nations, Huang said the Chinese side stands ready to keep in close touch with the Lao party, deepen the exchange of experience and boost practical cooperation to build a China-Laos community with a shared future and improve the welfare of the people of both sides.

Echoing Huang's remarks on the bilateral relationship, Sounthone said the Lao side is willing to continue boosting cooperation in various fields and sharing governance experience with the Chinese side to build the Laos-China community with a shared future.
