Huang Kunming met with a high-ranking news and media delegation from Macau on June 14 in Beijing.

Huang Kunming, a member of the Political Bureau of the Communist Party of China (CPC) Central Committee and head of the Publicity Department of the CPC Central Committee, met with a high-ranking news and media delegation from Macau on June 14 in Beijing.

Huang introduced to the delegates the guiding principles of the 19th National Congress of the CPC and the essence of socialism with Chinese characteristics for a new era. He also spoke on the 40 years of China's reform and opening up, especially the country's achievements and transformations since the 18th CPC National Congress.

Huang also gave praise to the achievements made by Macau's media professionals. He urged the media organizations to help to build patriotism in Macau, promote the success stories of "one country, two systems," and advocate for the Chinese culture. He pointed out that the media professionals in Macau are the bridge that connects Macau with the rest of China as well as the key to promoting patriotic traditions in Macau.

The delegation said that Macau's media organizations would continue to hold true to "one country, two systems" and contribute to the long-term stability and prosperity in Macau.
