A teleconference on publicity-related research and survey was held in Beijing on Feb. 23. Huang Kunming, a member of the Political Bureau of the Communist Party of China (CPC) Central Committee and head of the Publicity Department of the CPC Central Committee, spoke on the conference.
Huang said the research should follow Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era and the guiding principles of the 19th CPC National Congress, and give prominence to the construction of the socialist ideology featuring strong cohesion and leading force, so as to make Xi Jinping Thought take root among the people and enhance cultural and ideological work at the grassroots level.
Huang stressed the research and survey should be based on the current situation and people's real needs, solve problems with new thinking patterns, and strive to achieve practical results.
