Traditional publishers should integrate their advantages in content with Internet technology, said Liu.

Liu also called on the country's publishers to introduce more books on China's development, social system and contemporary values to overseas readers.

Founded in 1897, the state-owned Commercial Press is known for publishing dictionaries and academic works.
