Cultural events to be held to mark 70th anniversary of China-Mongolia ties

A series of cultural events marking the 70th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic ties between China and Mongolia will be held on Sept.2-6, organizers said Wednesday.

A series of cultural events marking the 70th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic ties between China and Mongolia will be held on Sept.2-6, organizers said Wednesday.

The events, entitled "Feel China," is part of a series of activities to celebrate the 70th anniversary of the diplomatic ties between the two countries, Han Yunxiang, head of press office of people's government of China's Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, told Xinhua.

Han said that the events aim to enhance mutual understanding of the two peoples and bolster traditionally friendly relations of the two countries.

During the events, a number of activities will be held, including performances of Chinese culture and martial arts, exhibitions on China-Mongolia friendship and traditional Chinese embroidery as well as others to promote Chinese movies, books and food culture.

The events are co-organized by China's State Council Information Office, China's Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, the Mongolian Ministry of Education, Culture, Science and Sports and governor's office of the Mongolian capital Ulan Bator.
