China, Senegal to jointly build 'China Pavilion' in Dakar

The State Council Information Office of China and the Senegal National School of Administration signed a memorandum of understanding on July 19 to jointly build the "China Pavilion" in Dakar, Senegal.

The State Council Information Office of China (SCIO) and the Senegal National School of Administration signed a memorandum of understanding on July 19 to jointly build the "China Pavilion" in Dakar, Senegal.

The "China Pavilion" will be set up at the Senegal National School of Administration, boasting various publications about Chinese politics, economy, education, science and history, in a bid to present the Chinese culture to the local people and boost the friendship of both peoples.

Zhang Yanbin, special representative of the SCIO, Zhang Xun, the Chinese ambassador to Senegal, and 100 representatives from the education and cultural industries of the two countries attended the signing ceremony.
