To mark the 200th anniversary of the birth of Karl Marx, China's state broadcaster and major streaming sites debuted a two-episode documentary "Immortal Marx" on May 3.
The documentary was produced with supervision by the Publicity Department of the Communist Party of China Central Committee. It recounts the accomplishments and contributions of Marx, and explains the profound significance that Marxist theories brought to the advancement of society and the socialist movement. The documentary features precious historical images, interviews with experts, and animated retellings of key events, vividly demonstrating the life and work of Marx.
