China will take further steps to stabilize the industrial and supply chains to boost the industrial economy, an official said Thursday.
During the first half of the year, factory activities were disrupted, and logistics bottlenecks emerged in some regions due to the pandemic, Xin Guobin, vice minister of industry and information technology, said at a press conference.
To address the challenges, solid efforts have been made to smooth the industrial and supply chains, consolidating the recovery momentum of the industrial economy, Xin said.
The country will continue to ensure the implementation of a package of pro-growth policies to revitalize the industrial economy, Xin said.
Efforts will be made to strengthen the monitoring and scheduling of operations in key regions, industries, and enterprises and help solve the difficulties facing these enterprises, Xin said.
The country will push ahead with implementing the policies to help small and medium-sized enterprises tide over hardships and bolster the expectations of the market entities, Xin added.
