Foreign holdings of Chinese mainland securities rise 34% per year

Overseas investors' net purchases of Chinese mainland bonds and stocks totaled more than US$700 billion from 2018 to 2021, marking an annual growth of 34% during that period, an official said at a press conference Friday.
