China to consolidate achievements in poverty alleviation for common prosperity

China will consolidate its achievements in poverty alleviation by reforming and improving social assistance policies, to ensure the basic livelihood of poor people and achieve common prosperity for all, a civil affairs official said at a press conference Friday.
