China's ethnic minority areas see major drop in poverty

From 2016 to 2020, the poor population dropped by 15.6 million in China's five autonomous regions (Inner Mongolia, Guangxi, Tibet, Ningxia, Xinjiang) and three provinces with a large multi-ethnic population (Guizhou, Yunnan, Qinghai), according to a white paper issued on Tuesday.
