Chinese procuratorial organs helped resolve over 6,300 administrative disputes in a campaign from November 2019 to December 2020, a senior procurator said on Tuesday.
The procuratorates promoted the settlement of administrative disputes by various means, including intensifying supervision on litigations, facilitating reconciliation, and offering judicial aid, said Yang Chunlei, deputy procurator-general of the Supreme People's Procuratorate (SPP) at a press conference.
In 2020, the procuratorial organs made 380 proposals to present protests to administrative judgement or retrial administrative cases, with a year-on-year increase of 59 percent, Yang said.
Promoting the actual settlement of administrative disputes will become the regular work of procuratorial organs, Yang added.
