Official: China's forest coverage rate to reach 24.1% by 2025

China has set the basic goals of the 14th Five Year Plan on ecological conservation and restoration. It aims to hit a forest coverage rate of 24.1% by 2025, a forest stock of 19 billion cubic meters, and a wetland protection rate of 55%.
