Official: China has full control over its own food supply

China's annual grain output is expected to surpass 650 million metric tons for six consecutive years, and the country has full control over the food supply of its 1.4 billion people, said Liu Huanxin, vice minister of agriculture and rural affairs during an SCIO press briefing Wednesday.
