China allocates funds to directly benefit people and businesses

By mid-August, the central government had allocated 1.674 trillion yuan for COVID-19 prevention and control, subsidizing market entities, stabilizing employment, ensuring normal operations of primary-level governments, and the construction of major projects, according to a press briefing on Wednesday.
