The State Council Information Office of China (SCIO) will invite officials from southwest China's Guizhou province to brief the media on the province's efforts to win the battle against poverty at 10 a.m. on Aug. 9, 2019. They include:
Sun Zhigang, secretary of the Guizhou Provincial Committee of the Communist Party of China (CPC) and chairman of the Standing Committee of the Guizhou Provincial People's Congress;
Shen Yiqin, vice secretary of the CPC Guizhou Provincial Committee and governor of Guizhou province.
An exhibition on Guizhou province will be held in the press conference hall.
Journalists wishing to attend are kindly requested to bring with them press cards issued by the SCIO.
