Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan will travel to China to attend the Conference on Dialogue of Asian Civilizations (CDAC), which will be held in Beijing later this month.
Meetings with Chinese leaders are on the agenda, Pashinyan told reporters Wednesday during a press conference.
"I think this visit will be a good opportunity to give a new impulse to Armenian-Chinese relations," Pashinyan stressed.
The Armenian PM noted that Yerevan should be more ambitious in further developing its relations with China.
The CDAC will gather state leaders from Asia and other regions, as well as heads of international organizations. There will be discussions on various topics, including tourism, culture, people-to-people exchanges and sharing of governance experience.
Other activities such as an Asian cultural carnival, Asian civilization week and Asian food festival will also be held during the event.
