The province is home to the famous Terracotta Army of China's first emperor Qin Shi Huang dating back to more than 2,000 years ago. The exhibits, gathered from 13 museums and cultural organizations in Shaanxi over a two-week period, will constitute an exhibition called the "First Emperor of Qin and Terracotta Army." The exhibition, organized by the Shaanxi Provincial Bureau of Cultural Heritage and the Shaanxi Cultural Exchange Center, will be held at the National Museums Liverpool from Feb. 8 to Oct. 28.

The exhibition will be one of the highlights in a series of 18 important cultural celebrations in Liverpool in 2018, as the year marks the city's 10th anniversary since being named the European Capital of Culture by the EU. Organizers hope the event will bring a meaningful Chinese cultural tour to the British people and promote cultural exchanges between the two countries.
